Daikin Applied is seeking a Marketing Engineer II to help identify business opportunities and execute marketing strategies to win business. This person will support product managers in implementing business and product strategies & serve as a functional expert and liaison for the technical systems side of the marketing team. Location: Staunton, VA; hybrid
Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide marketing support or project management for product development or maintenance.

  • Develop or maintain literature and promotional tools.

  • Assist with development or maintenance of technical unit selection software.

  • Investigate reported bugs and suggested enhancements in unit selection software, and other various applications.

  • Perform marketing evaluations that consider distribution needs, customer needs, market trends, competition, P&L requirements, and recommend appropriate action with direction.

  • Assist by providing information to the Product Manager for sales forecast and ROI projections.

  • Communicate marketing needs to other functional groups. i.e) engineering, IT, planning

  • Use of good communication skills.

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Master's Degree (preferred)

  • 2-5 years working in the HVAC industry (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,200 - $124,300 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
