Required Skills
  • 8-10 years of SAP ABAP development experience in implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development with a focus on SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
  • Proven experience working closely with business and functional teams in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), QM (Quality Management), and PS (Project Systems).
  • Ability to perform technical design, development, testing, debugging, code reviews, and production support.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Experience working in Offshore-Onsite delivery models.
  • Expertise in requirement analysis, technical solution design, estimation, development standards, and peer reviews.

Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in ABAP Objects and modern ABAP development techniques.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in:
    • Core Data Services (CDS Views) including analytical and consumption views.
    • ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
    • SAP Fiori Elements development.
    • OData Services (Gateway / RAP exposure preferred).
    • SAP HANA optimized development and code pushdown techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench:
    • Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework.
    • Reports (Classical, ALV, OO ALV).
    • Interfaces using BAPI, RFC, ALE/IDoc, Web Services, and ABAP Proxy.
    • Data Migration and Data Conversion programs.
  • Experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and Output Management.
  • Working knowledge of Workflow, BRF+, and Flexible Workflow.
  • Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) is highly preferred.
  • Experience with performance optimization, SQL tuning, and HANA database concepts.
  • Knowledge of transport management, code quality tools, and SAP development best practices.

SAP EAM Domain Knowledge (Mandatory)
  • Strong functional understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
  • Hands-on experience supporting and developing solutions in:
    • SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
    • SAP QM (Quality Management)
    • SAP PS (Project Systems)
  • Experience in EAM business processes including:
    • Maintenance Notifications
    • Maintenance Orders
    • Preventive Maintenance
    • Work Clearance Management
    • Equipment and Functional Locations
    • Asset Lifecycle Management
    • Inspection Processes and Quality Notifications
    • Project Planning, Budgeting, and Execution
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM implementations or support engagements.
  • Exposure to SAP Asset Manager and mobile maintenance solutions.
  • Understanding integration points between EAM, MM, FI, and QM, HCM.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and DevOps practices.

Functional Knowledge (Good to have)
  • Strong domain expertise in SAP PM, QM, and PS.
  • Understanding integration with MM, FI, and Asset Accounting.
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to design end-to-end EAM solutions.
