Job description

Meta is seeking an experienced Regional Logistics Operations Specialist to lead site services and technical logistics operations across a regional portfolio of data center and infrastructure facilities. In this role, you will manage third-party logistics providers, drive process standardization, and ensure inventory accuracy and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across regional sites. You will partner with cross-functional teams including data center operations, procurement, and finance to optimize logistics workflows, support hardware asset lifecycle management, and deliver consistent operational performance aligned to Meta's infrastructure supply chain standards.
Regional Logistics Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize regional logistics operations for data center site services, including inbound and outbound freight, hardware asset movements, and inventory control across multiple facilities
  • Oversee third-party logistics providers and site services vendors, holding them accountable to service level agreements and operational performance metrics
  • Utilize data analytics and supply chain reporting tools to monitor regional logistics performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead process standardization efforts across regional sites, engineering scalable logistics workflows that support data center growth and operational consistency
  • Partner with upstream procurement, finance, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and regulatory obligations across logistics operations
  • Serve as a regional subject matter expert on technical logistics, facilitating cross-functional discussions and influencing decisions related to inventory management systems and logistics network design
  • Develop and maintain aggressive operational roadmaps in collaboration with partner teams, aligning short, mid, and long-term logistics goals to broader infrastructure supply chain objectives
  • Assess and integrate cross-functional systems including ERP, warehouse management, and transportation management platforms to support a cohesive regional logistics ecosystem
  • Analyze the impact of business changes on regional logistics operations and implement risk mitigation measures to maintain continuity and compliance
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time to regional data center and infrastructure sites to support operations, conduct vendor reviews, and drive on-site process improvements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or site services within a technical infrastructure or data center environment
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers and holding vendors accountable to operational and compliance standards
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and supply chain reporting tools
  • Experience identifying process gaps and designing scalable logistics processes for distribution across multiple regional sites
  • Experience supporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements within a logistics or supply chain operations context
  • Experience using data analytics to monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate findings to stakeholders
