Job description

Job Purpose

The Infrastructure Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of P3's infrastructure technologies, including network, cloud, server, storage, and security platforms. This role serves as a primary technical resource for supporting and maintaining
enterprise networking systems, Citrix Remote Access, Azure cloud services, Windows and Linux operating systems, storage solutions, and related infrastructure technologies. The Infrastructure Systems Administrator will leverage technical expertise to provision, manage, monitor, secure, and optimize infrastructure services while ensuring the reliability, availability, and
security of business-critical systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting the organization's growing infrastructure and networking environment, reducing reliance on external consultants, and ensuring operational continuity through proactive administration, troubleshooting, and capacity planning. The Infrastructure Systems Administrator will work closely with Information Security, Development, Operations, and Business teams to design, implement, support, and continuously improve the organization's infrastructure and network environments.

Work Location & Schedule

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates will follow our hybrid schedule, working in office three days per week.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Serves as a primary administrator for enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless systems, VPN connectivity, and network security appliances.
  • Monitors network and infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identifies and resolves issues impacting business operations.
  • Performs network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity, performance, and security-related incidents.
  • Administers and maintains network services including DNS, DHCP, IP address management, routing, switching, and network segmentation.
  • Assists with network architecture planning, infrastructure upgrades, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Maintains network and systems infrastructure documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinates with internet service providers and technology vendors to resolve service issues and implement infrastructure improvements.
  • Supports enterprise network and system infrastructure security initiatives, including firewall management, remote access solutions, and network access controls.
  • Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and infrastructure resiliency efforts.
  • Provides operational support for data center, cloud, and branch office networking environments.
  • Supports infrastructure growth initiatives through implementation of scalable network and infrastructure solutions.
  • Works with the Information Security officer (ISO) and team to address security issues and information gathering for incidents and investigations as it relates to P3 cloud services.
  • Collaborates with ISO and other departments to ensure that the systems are compliant with all organizational standards and audits.
  • Ensures HITRUST compliance by following best practice guidelines.
  • Implements required patches and updates on P3 infrastructure.
  • Supports both Linux and Windows based platforms.
  • Key contributor in design and implementation.
  • Creates and maintains procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, and accessed by the systems.
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in healthcare, computer science, or business, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of IS related support
  • 3+ years of experience as System Administrator
  • 2+ years of experience administrating Firewalls
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud Administration or another cloud-based provider
  • Experience with FortiGate and/or SonicWALL firewall platforms
  • Citrix Platform Administration
  • Zabbix or other monitoring tool Administration
  • IS support experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with Back-Up Tools such as Azure backup, etc.
  • Experience with SAN, RAID, Cloud Storage (Storage solutions)
  • Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Shell, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Firewall functions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform & Azure Services
  • Knowledge of Information Services security concepts and best practice
  • Knowledge of core Microsoft business applications, word, excel, outlook, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide product documentation and training
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot potential issues and participate in their resolution with highest customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the group growth and expansion
  • Work independently as well as in a group setting
  • Ability to multi-task

Pay Range: $115,000-125,000 depending on experience
