The right person for this opportunity will be a dedicated leader who will oversee all technical infrastructure and guide the development of the infrastructure team, while contributing to the company's IT organization. This person will shape the architecture of the company's IT systems, storage, and network to support overall business strategies. The right person for this job will be have an in-depth knowledge of what it takes to develop and maintain infrastructure, along with developing and managing the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be an example for our people by demonstrating the company's Core Values
  • Develop and maintain an infrastructure architecture that supports the business strategy and IT guiding principles
  • Manage infrastructure maintenance, including patching, system updates and other regular activities
  • Manage infrastructure assets, to include building out refresh plans
  • Manage financial aspects including on-premise assets as well as cloud computing spend
  • Partner with Managers and Project Managers to deliver infrastructure projects on time and as expected
  • Provide technical expertise
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and growth opportunities for the infrastructure team, conducting performance reviews and managing assigned employees
  • Identify tools for process automation
  • Works with leadership on long-term roadmap
  • Stays current on emerging trends within the industry
  • Facilitates end-to-end communication
  • Reports on internal metrics and provides insight and guidance on changes
  • Works with security team to ensure that all systems align with the company’s security initiatives

Job Qualifications:

  • A minimum 7 years of IT infrastructure experience (2 years in Azure cloud environment)
  • A minimum 2 years leading an infrastructure team, including performance reviews and all aspects of personnel management
  • Visionary and leadership skills
  • Extraordinary cross-functional collaborative skills
  • Knowledge of designing scalable solutions and high availability implementations
  • Knowledge of cloud-based architecture
  • Understands efficiency driven standards
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in an effective, non-technical manner
  • Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
  • Ability to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
