The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

We are seeking a seasoned Technical DevOps Manager with at least 10 years of progressive experience across infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps. This role requires a hands on leader who can guide day-to-day operations, support delivery across key initiatives, and work closely with architects, peer managers, and technical teams to drive execution, resolve issues, and improve platform reliability.

We hire people, not positions. That's because, at Concora Credit, we put people first, including our customers, partners, and Team Members. Concora Credit is guided by a single purpose: to help non-prime customers do more with credit. Today, we have helped millions of customers access credit. Our industry leadership, resilience, and willingness to adapt ensure we can help our partners responsibly say yes to millions more. As a company grounded in entrepreneurship, we're looking to expand our team and are looking for people who foster innovation, strive to make an impact, and want to Do More! We’re an established company with over 20 years of experience, but now we’re taking things to the next level. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change.

As our Technical DevOps Manager, you will provide:
1. Team Leadership and Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the DevOps team, ensuring effective execution of operational priorities/support, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and accountability across DevOps KTLO activities, ensuring stability, responsiveness, and consistent service delivery.
  • Mentor team members, promote collaboration, and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

2. Stakeholder Engagement and Cross Functional Partnership:

  • Serve as a key liaison across engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, and leadership teams to ensure alignment of priorities and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Work closely with peer managers, directors, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders in a highly collaborative and agile environment.
  • Communicate clearly across technical and business stakeholders through status updates, issue management, and delivery reporting

3. Agile Delivery and Planning:

  • Partner with project managers and technical teams to support planning, prioritization, and execution of work across an agile delivery model.
  • Contribute to story grooming, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing coordination to ensure work is well defined, properly sequenced, and delivered on time.
  • Help drive execution discipline across both projects work and operational support activities.

4. Technical Leadership and Problem Resolution:

  • Provide hands on technical leadership across infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and platform related initiatives, with the ability to engage deeply when needed.
  • Take ownership of critical issues, risks, and cross functional dependencies, driving them through resolution with urgency and sound judgment.
  • Support complex troubleshooting efforts and provide leadership across operational incidents, escalations, and service improvement opportunities.

5. Architecture, Documentation, Reporting, and Governance:

  • Partner closely with architects and engineering leaders to support scalable, resilient, and well governed platform and infrastructure solutions.
  • Produce clear, audience appropriate reporting for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including detailed documentation for engineering teams and executive summaries, status reporting, and recommendations for Directors, Vice Presidents, and C suite leadership.
  • Translate complex technical and operational information into meaningful reports, dashboards, summaries, and recommendations that support decision making, visibility, and governance.

6. Cloud Transformation, Automation, and Cost Management:

  • Lead and support cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives that improve scalability, efficiency, and operational reliability.
  • Drive the adoption of automation and engineering practices that streamline deployment, maintenance, and support activities.
  • Own and help manage infrastructure and cloud cost optimization efforts, including cost visibility, resource efficiency, forecasting, and ongoing financial accountability.

7. Technical Background and Continuous Improvement:

  • Bring a strong technical foundation in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, and platform operations, with the ability to lead both strategically and operationally.
  • Prefer candidates with prior coding, scripting, or automation experience who can work effectively with engineers on technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and openness to emerging technologies, including AI enabled capabilities, where they can improve operational efficiency and team effectiveness.
  •

These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable. If your experience is close to what we're looking for, consider applying. Diversity has made us the entrepreneurial and innovative company that we are today.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in DevOps, cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering, including prior experience leading teams or technical operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience working in hybrid cloud and on premises environments, with the ability to lead day to day operations while also supporting delivery of key initiatives.
  • Proven experience working in agile delivery models, including close coordination with project managers and active involvement in planning, prioritization, backlog refinement, and story grooming.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with architects, peer managers, and technical teams to solve problems, remove blockers, and keep work moving across operational and project efforts.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills, with the ability to create clear technical standards, procedures, and operational documentation, while also providing concise updates to Directors, Vice Presidents, and executive leadership.
