Duties include researching products, negotiating prices, purchasing large quantities, and communicating product specifications to other teams. Other objectives include relationship management and product development. Preferred qualifications for this career include a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting and experience in purchasing or distribution environments. Certification is also preferred.
