Description:

Responsibilities:

· Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.

· Perform preventive maintenance as required.

· Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.

· Present a sense of urgency.

· Execute daily maintenance work order activities and priorities in the most efficient manner possible.

· Assist with the procurement of replacement and spare parts.

· Read and interpret mechanical and/or electrical schematic drawings, sketches, manuals and specifications.

· Work closely with supervision and production to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Two-year technical associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years-experience providing process and/or engineering support in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.

Training Requirements:

  • Amenable to additional training and/or instruction

Physical Job Demands:

  • Moderate to heavy lifting required.
  • Moderate to high physical activity including but not limited to climbing steps and ladders, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
