SUMMARY

The Technical Recruiter at Axius Group is responsible for delivering full cycle recruiting support across corporate and client programs, with a focus on technical roles within engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, and related environments. This role executes recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate coordination while partnering with hiring managers and internal teams to meet program demands.

This position operates as a strong individual contributor, managing multiple requisitions with guidance from senior recruiting team members. The Technical Recruiter supports recruiting strategy execution, develops candidate pipelines, and ensures timely, high quality candidate delivery. Success in this role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to learn and evaluate technical skill sets in a fast paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supports full cycle recruiting for technical and professional roles across assigned programs
  • Partners with hiring managers and internal teams to understand position requirements and hiring priorities
  • Sources candidates using job boards, direct outreach, referrals, and internal databases
  • Screens candidates to assess technical qualifications, experience, and alignment to role requirements
  • Coordinates interviews and supports candidate preparation throughout the hiring process
  • Maintains accurate and timely candidate records within the applicant tracking system
  • Communicates effectively with candidates regarding status, expectations, and next steps
  • Supports offer coordination and onboarding activities as needed
  • Collaborates with Senior Technical Recruiters for guidance on complex or specialized roles
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws, company policies, and client requirements
  • Utilizes Microsoft Teams and related tools to support recruiting delivery
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE

  • Working knowledge of recruiting processes, sourcing techniques, and candidate management practices
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and recruiting tools
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements including EEO and ADA
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
  • Foundational understanding of engineering, manufacturing, or technical roles, with the ability to learn and apply technical screening concepts

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work environment is in a climate controlled office
  • Regular physical demands include sitting for extended periods, repetitive hand use, and occasional light lifting
  • Schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8 30am to 5 00pm with occasional extended hours as needed

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • If a Security Clearance is required:
    • Candidates "must/may need" to be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
    • Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval
