Job Overview
This role is essential for managing technical products that meet specific business objectives and customer needs within the organization. It involves owning the product lifecycle, including vision, strategy, technical delivery, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure successful outcomes. The role requires balancing customer insights, technical feasibility, and business goals to prioritize and deliver product features effectively. Success is measured by product performance, customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions. The work impacts the organization by enabling cross-functional teams to deliver products that enhance customer experiences and achieve business results.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for complex technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Act as Product Manager for the scrum team, managing and prioritizing the product backlog based on business impact, risk, and dependencies
  • Translate solution requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
  • Collaborate with architecture and development teams to support solution design and ensure alignment with system architecture
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize features, assess risks, and support decision-making
  • Coordinate Agile ceremonies and maintain efficient development flow, including managing technical debt and dependencies
  • Ensure product quality by partnering with QA to review and validate test coverage for critical billing and payment flows
  • Identify execution, operational, and organizational issues that impede product success and drive resolution plans
  • Communicate risks, impacts, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders and leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, legal, engineering, and external partners
  • Support and enable Agile and DevOps best practices, including CI/CD and continuous improvement
  • Develop adoption tools and training materials to support product usage and internal teams
  • Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing learning and industry engagement
  • Also responsible for other duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)
  • 3+ years experience in hands on technical rolw riting production cocde, solution engineering, or technical architecture in large scale company/ application/product environment. (Required)
  • 5+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and Scrum practices
  • Strong requirements elicitation and technical writing skills
  • Experience with Agile project management tools and DevOps environments
  • Ability to develop initiatives, features, and user stories for engineering teams
  • Experience delivering large and complex business and technology initiatives
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Deep understanding of platform technologies including APIs, integrations, performance, and system architecture
  • Strong analytical and business analysis skills with data-driven decision making
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with billing platforms, including rating, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes
  • Familiarity with batch processing and end-of-day workflows in high-volume systems
  • Working knowledge of technologies such as C, C++, or Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience assessing production risk and supporting high-availability systems
  • Strong prioritization, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in complex environments

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) (Preferred)
  • Other Technical Certification Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (Preferred)

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
