Job description

Come join the ONELIFE Senior Living team! We are looking for compassionate and dedicated team members with a common purpose of making a difference in the lives of seniors.

The Esther at Riverbend Assisted Living, located in Springfield, OR is seeking a dedicated and passionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to the residents in our community.

Responsibilities of the Med Tech

  • Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents’ physicians.
  • Documents and reports changes and observations of resident’s needs and preferences.
  • Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
  • Aid with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
  • Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
  • Ensure residents are provided with privacy, respect, and dignity.
  • Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
  • Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience

  • Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one (1) year prior caregiving experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly, in a Senior Living Community.
  • CPR and AED Certifications required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
