ID: 64120059 Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30) Description: weekend rotations; 1500-2330 Must be certified (IASCHM, CBSPD, HSPA), have a 3 or above rating in Robotics and have worked in level II Trauma or similar facility (we have 20 ORs including L&D). The SPD unit serves 18 Surgical ORs, 2 L&D ORs, cath lab, and a multitude of clinics. We have nearly all specialties, including robotics. We are a Level II trauma center. We work with a multitude of vendors for tray instruments Stryker, Zimmer, Medtronic, Depuy, Aesculap, etc. This position will primarily be working in decontam and will rarely be assembling trays.POSITION PURPOSE: The Sterile Processing Tech I cleans, prepares, sterilizes and stores instruments, from across the Salem Health system. The tech also prepares case carts for the OR.Education High School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience A minimum of 5 years previous sterile processing experience is requiredLicenses/ Certification/ Registration Certification required at hire (CRCST or CSPDT) and maintained.
