Job description

JOB SUMMARY (ON SITE NO REMOTE)
This position will provide leadership, management and guidance to the IT team as well as provide strategic guidance to the company regarding IT infrastructure and systems. Will ensure proper support to all end users to enable effective utilization of company approved systems and IT processes. Will manage the IT budget and monitor all costs. This position will also oversee all IT vendors and consultants to ensure quality of service and cost control.
Summary of Job Duties:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Provide day to day supervision of the Helpdesk Team, guidance, and task prioritization.
  • Manage ticket queues, monitor SLAs and serve as the main escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Assist in reviewing IT purchases, installation, and maintenance of IT related solutions.
  • Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
  • Help develop and manage IT budget with support of others.
  • Assist with outside vendors in the generation of RFP's, bids, contracts, agreements and other major vendor interactions regarding IT-related products and services with support of others as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with the IT Director.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and IT best practice policies.
  • Performs all subordinate performance appraisals and seeks to continually improve team performance.
  • Interface for MSP, Archer Point, DataVail and others who support the Threshold IT business needs.
  • Provide management and direction to the application team and contractors supporting applications in the Director absence.
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to effectively present technical information and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Expertise in network and database administration desired
  • Hands-on IT Project Management experience
  • Staff supervisory experience
  • Strong technical background and exposure to multi-platform environments
  • Capable of maintaining strict confidentiality given will have access to all company information.

  • Provide standards for IT Documentation and oversee the creation of documentation for IT process.

Minimum Qualifications Include:
  • BS degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a closely related field preferred.
  • Minimum of (3) years' experience in management of complex projects and implementation of systems required.
  • Minimum of (3) years managing projects and applications required.
  • Minimum of (1) year as supervisor / group leader.
