The Information Technology Supervisor leads and oversees the planning, organization, and management of network, server, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategic oversight with direct technical administration to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations. The incumbent will manage staff, optimize resources, and actively perform system administration tasks while communicating effectively with internal customers to understand needs, provide clear updates, and ensure a positive user experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Participates in the development and implementation of goals and objectives
• Directly oversees staff recruitment, hiring, work assignments, and daily operations.
• Manages employee performance through evaluations, coaching, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures efficient and effective utilization of team resources.
• Implements protocols and processes to address information technology needs
• Coaches employees to obtain improvements and correct deficiencies and conducts performance evaluations
• Oversees maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of network, server, and cloud infrastructure.
• Manages all phases of IT infrastructure lifecycle, including strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develops and maintains backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans; manages institutional risk related to data storage and security.
• Communicates effectively with internal customers to understand needs, provide clear updates, and ensure a positive user experience.
• Partners with departments to design and implement technology systems and workflows.
• Communicates project status updates to end-users in a timely and transparent manner, including estimated completion dates, progress milestones, and delays or changes to timelines.
• Conducts needs assessments and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Network Security including perimeter, endpoint, server, mobile, and cloud

• Expert knowledge of prioritization and time management techniques
• Ability to effectively deliver clear, detailed, and correct verbal and written communication predicting questions and concerns, understanding opposing ideas, concepts, and options.
• Ability to research, define, and validate a variety of information and statistical data and materials.
• Ability to identify, prioritize, delegate, and complete required tasks in the manner and timeframe required.
Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field and at least 5 years' experience of progressively responsible related experience in the operation of computer hardware and software systems, or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job is qualifying.Requires valid driver's license. Must complete required NIMS level training within first six months of hire. Required to complete at least 5 contact hours of continuing education each calendar year.
Physical Requirements: While performing the essential functions of this position the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and to reach with hands and arms. May occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force.
Typical Working Conditions:Typical office environment. Must be able to work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks and participate in weekend and holiday Call-Out support rotation.
