Baltz Elementary School has the need for a Special Education Long Term Substitute position.
This is a reported time position.
OVERVIEW:
Baltz Elementary School seeking a highly-qualified, enthusiastic individual to provide instruction in Special Education. This is a Long Term Substitute position. The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, be self-motivated, and have demonstrated ability to deliver lessons to support the curriculum goals for Special Education. The teacher will also be responsible for developing and delivering instruction in inclusive classroom settings.
Must be able to integrate the use of technology into the day to day classroom instruction.
Responsible for the comprehensive curriculum.
Must be able to teach/serve students remotely and in person depending on the needs of the assigned students.
Required Certificate(s):
Bachelor's degree required. Teacher certification (any state) a plus.
Dual certified (Spec Ed) preferred but not required.
State of Delaware retirees are eligible , but subject to pension rules.
