| POSITION Innovative Teaching & Learning Coach
| LOCATION Central Office
| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Innovative Teaching & Learning Coach serves in a district-level support role to lead assigned curricular areas and ensure alignment with college and career pathways. This position plays a key role in advancing district instructional priorities by contributing to district-level planning, instructional design, and the execution of curriculum-specific projects. The Coach partners closely with administration to execute consistent coaching and cultural routines, supports the onboarding and development of new teachers through targeted coaching, and evaluates curriculum implementation across departments and subject areas. Additionally, the Innovative Teaching & Learning Coach leads a personalized area of expertise and serves as a vital resource for educators and administrators in instructional coaching, curriculum development, and the implementation of best practices.
| QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid professional or permanent teacher licensure issued by the Ohio State Board of Education;
  • Possess instructional coaching and curriculum knowledge, interest, and experience;
  • Knowledge of research based, best practiced, learner-centered instructional strategies and resources;
  • Ability to work as a team member with administrators and faculty;
  • Ability to lead professional development;
  • Possess educational technology knowledge and skills (technology tools, software, integration strategies, learning management systems);
  • Experience with project management
  • Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance;
  • History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
  • Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
