Job description

Responsibilities

Responsible for working closely with TaylorMade tour athletes, with a focus on the PGA Tour, to increase appropriate usage of TaylorMade products, service athlete equipment needs, and expand brand influence across tour and sports marketing channels.

  • Maximize TaylorMade equipment in play on the PGA Tour and other influential tours/ambassadors in alignment with strategy across all product categories.
  • Develop productive relationships with top Team TaylorMade players on the PGA Tour and other influential tours by building trust and demonstrating product, fitting and performance expertise.
  • Identify players with potential to use TaylorMade equipment, evaluate their performance needs, recommend appropriate equipment solutions, and support successful conversion to products in play.
  • Work with teams for athlete product testing, capture structured feedback on performance, feel, fit, launch conditions and playability, and translate that feedback into clear recommendations for internal product, fitting and tour leadership teams.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure satisfaction of goals and objectives within the team to grow exposure for our brand and business.
  • Effectively communicate with internal teams to provide feedback on player needs, equipment feedback, product performance/needs, competitor equipment, competitor programs and other relevant tour insights.
  • Always represent company at the highest levels to the player, their family, agent or coaches.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Education and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
  • Collegiate golf playing experience required 5+ years of general golf industry experience, including at least 4 years of direct interaction with golf professionals and top amateurs, with fitting experience related to personal equipment and performance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on equipment building, club fitting and performance optimization experience required.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
  • Utilize fitting tools, launch-monitor data, player performance trends and comparative product analysis to support equipment recommendations, player adoption and product‑development feedback.
  • Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of TaylorMade products.
  • High-level of golf skills at a competitive amateur and professional level.
  • Knowledge of competitor products and performance analysis of products.
  • Understanding of the athlete population, including product needs, performance tendencies, swing mechanics and communication preferences, in order to build credibility with players, families, agents, teachers and coaches.
  • Strong knowledge of current golf landscape with ability to assess, predict and recruit players to TaylorMade.
  • Ability to retain and manage current TaylorMade relationships while demonstrating strong listening, written communication, verbal communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office skills with aptitude to learn internal systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and public relations skills as well as a neat and professional appearance.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset while maintaining alignment with team structure, priorities and objectives.
  • Must have valid drivers’ license.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Position consists of 70-80% travel, in excess of 220 days on the road. Outdoor work environment. Will spend considerable time outdoors regardless of the weather. Must be able to work extended hours, holidays and weekends as needed. Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of medium weight materials (up to 50 pounds)
