Job description

The Senior Digital Product Manager, Global eCommerce contributes to TaylorMade Golf's success by owning the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of TaylorMade's global eCommerce business. This is both a business and technical leadership role - equally focused on understanding consumer behavior, regional market needs, and business performance as it is on driving the development and evolution of the eCommerce experience. This role leads a team of direct reports and aligned with leadership serves as the senior eCommerce product authority, connecting regional business leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and technology delivery teams to ensure TaylorMade's digital storefronts deliver a world-class consumer experience globally. The ideal candidate brings deep eCommerce expertise, strong business acumen, a consumer-first mindset, and proven leadership to drive innovation, elevate the shopping experience, and deliver measurable business outcomes in support of TaylorMade's global digital commerce growth.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports, establishing clear goals, fostering accountability, and building a high-performance eCommerce product team
  • Ensure the eCommerce product roadmap is grounded in and aligned to the strategic vision and priorities set by eCommerce leadership, translating executive direction into a clear, actionable product plan that the broader team can execute against
  • In alignment with leadership and digital strategy, own and drive the global eCommerce product roadmap, serving as a proactive thought partner on investment decisions and initiative prioritization
  • Collaborate regularly with regional business leaders to understand market-specific consumer behavior and expectations, and present the product roadmap to regional stakeholders for input and alignment, building shared buy-in across markets
  • Partner with the data analytics and insights team to inform roadmap prioritization, using consumer data, site performance trends, and business metrics to build a clear, evidence-based case for investment decisions
  • Translate roadmap priorities into clearly sequenced, well-defined initiatives with milestones, dependencies, and timelines, managing cross-functional workstreams to keep multiple teams aligned and moving in parallel toward shared goals
  • Own the full consumer journey across TaylorMade's global eCommerce sites - from discovery and navigation through checkout and payment - ensuring every touchpoint is optimized for conversion, localized for each market, and continuously improved through data, best practices, and emerging technologies including AI
  • Champion a consumer-first approach to every product decision, leveraging site data, customer insights, and regional market context to ensure the roadmap is built around what drives the best experience and business outcomes globally
  • Define, own, and report on a KPI scorecard and site health framework covering conversion, site speed, uptime, and consumer experience metrics, using it to conduct regular business reviews, surface opportunities, and drive data-informed prioritization and investment decisions
  • Serve as the primary eCommerce product authority for business stakeholders, partnering closely with Global Programs, Personalization, A/B Testing, Design, GTM, Product Enrichment, Global Merchandising, QA, Retention, Customer Support, and regional eCommerce teams to align on shared priorities, cross-team dependencies, and ensure the site supports flawless global product launches across all markets - owning select initiatives end-to-end from concept through delivery and post-launch review
  • Communicate product status, risks, and escalations clearly and proactively to the Director and key stakeholders, bringing forward solutions alongside issues
  • Partner with development and delivery teams to plan and execute site releases and upgrades, ensuring a consistently high-quality consumer experience with minimal disruption
  • Partner with the OMS team to ensure seamless integration between the eCommerce experience and order management workflows, aligning on requirements, release timing, and cross-system impacts
  • Drive continuous improvement of TaylorMade's eCommerce experience through proactive identification of performance gaps, new SFCC capabilities, and emerging industry best practices
  • Oversee global site health and performance, working with development and operations teams to monitor, resolve, and prevent issues that impact the consumer experience
  • Ensure all site releases adhere to brand, UX, accessibility, and security standards across all global markets
  • Lead evaluation, selection, and integration of third-party tools and technologies that enhance the eCommerce experience and support business growth
  • Manage vendor relationships, including Salesforce and third-party solution providers, ensuring service levels and deliverables meet business expectations; partner with finance and legal teams as needed to support budget planning, contract reviews, and compliance requirements related to eCommerce initiatives
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Strong eCommerce business acumen and a consumer-first mindset, with the ability to connect regional market insights and consumer behavior data to product decisions that drive experience, conversion, and revenue
  • Proven people leadership skills with experience managing and developing direct reports in a fast-paced digital environment
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for development and delivery teams
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator, able to present roadmaps and product strategies to regional and senior stakeholders and work effectively across business, analytics, design, and technology teams
  • Highly persuasive and influential, with the ability to build compelling narratives, get buy-in from diverse teams and regional stakeholders, and drive alignment even in the absence of direct authority - comfortable presenting to and influencing audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to define and interpret KPIs, site health metrics, and consumer data to drive informed decisions
  • Solid understanding of agile frameworks and how to operate effectively within an agile development environment, including working with development teams on sprint cycles, release planning, and iterative delivery
  • Comfortable operating across global regions and managing competing priorities across multiple markets and workstreams
  • Proactive, collaborative, and highly accountable - takes ownership end-to-end and drives commitments through to measurable outcomes
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for product documentation and team collaboration
  • Familiarity with Quantum Metrics, Google Analytics, or other eCommerce analytics tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in eCommerce product management or a related digital commerce field
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms, preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Business Manager
  • 3+ years of experience managing direct reports or leading cross-functional digital teams
  • Demonstrated experience working in a global or multi-regional eCommerce environment, including engaging with regional business stakeholders, strongly preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Full-time, on-site position based in Carlsbad, CA. Normal office conditions, heavy computer use
  • Occasional travel may be required to support cross-functional or global team engagements
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple global time zones, with occasional extended hours to support site releases and key milestones
  • Standard office environment with regular computer usage
  • Light physical effort with frequent use of standard office equipment

TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
