Polston Tax Resolution & Accounting is hiring a Remote Tax Strategist.

The Tax Strategist must have the following:

  • Valid credential as an attorney, CPA, and/or Enrolled Agent
  • Proven successful sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information and tax law
  • 5 yearsโ€™ experience with tax preparation and review
  • 1+ year experience in the construction industry, preferred but not required
  • 3 years of financial accounting experience
  • Access to the following equipment to perform the required work duties:
    • A computer, laptop, monitor(s), tablet and/or smart phone.
    • Internet - a minimum of 50 Mbps internet service with a recommended speed of 100 Mbps for optimal performance.
    • Satisfactory background and reference checks, including employment verification.

PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this position, Polston is currently hiring remote telework positions for workers located in AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, MD, MA, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI.

Salary for this position is: $80,000-$120,000 per year


What Will You Do?

The Tax Strategist position is primarily responsible for meeting with prospective clients and answering questions in consultations.

  • Meet with prospective clients to assess their current accounting and tax planning needs.
  • Build relationships with business owners, developing and closing new business.
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals for new business development.
  • Leverage accounting knowledge to identify client needs.
  • Provide tax consulting services.
  • Review work completed by staff and communicate results to the client.
  • Work closely with clients as well as internal managers/staff.
  • Provide detailed review and analysis of tax returns and communicate the results to the client annually.
  • Remain current on tax practices and changes in tax law.
  • Meet tax training goals weekly.
