What is tax resolution sales?

Tax resolution sales is a specialized profession where individuals help clients who owe back taxes to the IRS or state tax authorities find solutions to their tax problems. Sales representatives in this field consult with clients, assess their financial situations, and recommend services such as installment agreements, offers in compromise, or penalty abatements. They act as the first point of contact, educating clients on their options and guiding them through the process of resolving their tax debt. The role often involves significant communication skills, empathy, and knowledge of tax resolution procedures.
