Task Project Manager 3

Location: Baxley, GA

Client- Southern Nuclear

Contract- 5 MonthsJob Summary

The Task Project Manager is responsible for providing field oversight of supplemental personnel, ensuring quality review of work products, and managing schedule and budget tracking. This role also includes extensive coordination and interface with multiple plant departments to support safe, efficient, and compliant project implementation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Field Oversight

    • Supervise and support supplemental personnel working on-site.

    • Ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to plant procedures.

  • Work Product Review

    • Review technical and administrative deliverables for accuracy and completeness.

    • Verify compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and plant policies.

  • Schedule & Budget Tracking

    • Monitor task progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to budgetary requirements.

    • Prepare and provide progress reports to plant management.

  • Departmental Coordination

    • Serve as liaison between plant departments, vendors, and supplemental staff.

    • Support implementation activities with clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Clearance and Tagging qualification.

  • Task Manager qualification.

  • Previous experience with:

    • ESOMS (Electronic Shift Operations Management System)

    • MAXIMO (Work Management System)

    • PDMS (Plant Data Management System)

    • P6 (Primavera Scheduling Software).

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead across multiple teams.

  • Ability to balance field oversight with administrative reporting responsibilities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Task Manager or Project Coordinator experience within the nuclear power industry (SNC site experience strongly preferred).

Work Environment
  • Primarily field-based oversight activities with some office and administrative responsibilities.

  • Interaction with plant staff, vendors, and supplemental contractors.

  • Must be able to support emergent work needs and adapt to changing priorities.
