Job description

This HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST position, is located in the Military Personnel Office (MILPO) of the Army National Guard (ARNG)and is part of the CA JFHQ MILPO.

Qualifications:General Experience: Possess experience, education or training which provides the ability to use automated systems, coordinating, planning, organizing and directing work, and the ability to work with others to obtain needed information to complete tasks.
HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level experience in providing oversight, planning, interpretation and application of policy, and providing, reviewing and validating products to present to senior leadership.
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies:
  • Database Management Systems
  • Policy and Compliance
  • Program Management
  • Technical Competence
Education:Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work required.

Have a combination of education and experience. (Only graduate education in excess of the amount required above may be used.)
