This position is for immediate work, no physical labor and no experience is required because training will be provided to you. We are looking for self-motivated, responsible, dedicated individuals who can prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision. Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
  • Monitor and observe all loading activities of trucks, bobcats, front-end loaders, or other vehicles as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Confirm that the hauling contractors are loading only eligible storm related debris, which is on public rights-of-way or property, and that they are not going on to private property to collect debris.
  • Make sure contractors pick up all eligible debris and clear branches and other debris off roadway and private driveways before moving on.
  • Provide qualified personnel to perform environmental compliance monitoring during demolition activities
  • Document violations with City demolition requirements, coordinate with contractors, and verify corrective actions are completed.
  • Confirm utility disconnects and completion of the scope of work after demolition.
  • Ensuring that debris cleanup complies with federal regulations
  • Understand daily responsibilities set by the supervisor and project manager
  • Brief the Supervisor on the day's activities, debris collection progress, issues, or problems.

Required Qualifications:
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Possess an insured reliable and dependable vehicle for following trucks. Must be available for all day use
  • Must meet driving record qualifications and pass a successful MVR check.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work instructions
  • Ability to work for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use a smartphone
  • Provide valid I9 documentation
  • Good teamwork and cooperation skills
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time

NO HOUSING OR RELOCATION WILL BE PROVIDED.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk on uneven terrain and climb up and downstairs.

  • Standing or walking outside in adverse weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat.
  • Working on site with loud equipment for extended periods of time.

This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as needed" basis and will end.It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
