Job description

Field Mechanic

Talon Recruiting has partnered with a National Material Handling company. They are in search of Field Mechanics to join their team in Appleton, WI.

Ideal Fit:

The ideal fit will have extensive knowledge of all areas of Heavy Equipment maintenance or Forklift repair.

Qualifications:

โ€ข Knowledge of internal combustion engines (gas and diesel)

โ€ข Hands on experience maintaining and repairing Heavy Equipment

โ€ข Must own tool set

โ€ข Willing to work overtime when needed

โ€ข Strong attention to detail

โ€ข Ability to multitask

Responsibilities:

โ€ข Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and propane systems

โ€ข Perform complete repair and overhaul functions, including diagnostics and testing

โ€ข Perform parts management

โ€ข Maintain own tools and equipment

Compensation & Benefits:

$20-32+ hour based on experience
