About the Job
Talis Group's company client is a well-known and prestigious national law firm. Our client is hiring a Legal Secretary to support two attorneys in civil defense litigation. This position is ideal for an experienced legal secretary with a background such as corporate/ business litigation, or similar.
This position is full time partial remote, and it offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) and profit sharing, life insurance, long-term disability, and more. Salary range: $70,000-$84,000 depending on years of experience.
Highlighted Duties:
  • Prepare and format legal documents.
  • Prepare new client/matter requests.
  • State and federal e-filing.
  • Maintain attorney calendars through Outlook and CompuLaw.
  • Arrange meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements.
  • Prepare expense reports, time entry/ pre-bills.
Highlighted Requirements:
  • Ability to accurately format documents with a keen eye for detail.
  • State and federal court filing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal secretary in civil defense litigation.
  • Strong skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, some PowerPoint; ability to use document management systems and docketing/calendaring software.
  • Professional references required for consideration.
