Job Overview

The Data Solutions Lead II is responsible for evaluating the most complex and elevated business requests, determining the appropriate solution path, and leading high-impact enhanced analytical or innovation-led efforts that extend beyond standard data product delivery. This role translates ambiguous business problems into structured, actionable solution strategies, aligns stakeholders across functions, and ensures complex work is led effectively from framing through delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate highly complex, ambiguous, and cross-functional business requests and determine the most appropriate solution path
  • Define strategic business logic, KPIs, measures, and structured solution approaches for high-impact enhanced analytical or innovation-led efforts
  • Lead and coordinate the most complex enhanced analytical or innovation-led solutions in partnership with business stakeholders and technical resources
  • Influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and manage tradeoffs across competing priorities, solution options, and business outcomes
  • Route standard output work back to Data Product Developers when requests can be addressed through established delivery patterns
  • Document solution approaches, requirements, key decisions, and logic to support execution, continuity, and scalable reuse
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Deep ability to translate highly ambiguous business needs into structured solution strategies
  • Strong experience defining KPIs, measures, decision frameworks, business logic, and end-to-end solution approaches
  • Strong judgment in determining whether work should remain standard, move to enhanced analytics, or require innovation-led development
  • Advanced facilitation, communication, and stakeholder influence skills
  • Ability to lead complex cross-functional efforts without formal authority
  • Strong understanding of reporting, dashboards, data products, automation, advanced analytics, and innovation-led solution models
  • Ability to manage tradeoffs across business value, scalability, timing, and solution practicality\
  • Experience leading high-visibility initiatives or strategic solution work

  • Bachelor''s degree (4 years)
  • 7 or more years
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
