Job Description:
The Communications Program Manager is a strategic communications leader responsible for shaping and executing FormFactor's internal communications strategy and external employer brand initiatives. This role partners closely with the People Team, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and business leaders to ensure employees are connected to company strategy while elevating FormFactor's reputation as an employer of choice in the semiconductor industry.
The Communications Program Manager leads communication programs end-to-end, influences stakeholders across the organization, and independently develops messaging strategies that support employee engagement, culture, organizational effectiveness, and talent attraction globally. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and serves as a trusted advisor to leaders on communication planning, change management, and employee experience initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communications Strategy and Execution
  • Lead the development and execution of internal communication strategies that align employees to business priorities, cultural initiatives, organizational change, and company objectives.
  • Set standards, guidelines, and governance for internal communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and effectiveness across the company.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior People leaders and executives by drafting high-impact messaging, executive presentations, leadership talking points, announcements, and change communications.
  • Advise leaders on communication approaches for organizational changes, workforce initiatives, business transformations, and sensitive employee topics.
  • Build and maintain a proactive communications calendar and content strategy that supports organizational priorities and strengthens employee engagement.
  • Identify communication opportunities and develop messaging plans that anticipate employee information needs and support business outcomes.
  • Serve as an early adopter of AI-driven communication approaches, identifying opportunities to increase productivity & accuracy, enhance storytelling, and deliver measurable business outcomes through innovative communications strategies.

Employer Brand and External Marketing Communications
  • Shape and execute FormFactor's employer brand strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Marketing.
  • Develop compelling external content that communicates FormFactor's culture, values, employee experience, and career opportunities across multiple channels.
  • Create and manage employer brand storytelling, including employee spotlights, culture narratives, site launch messaging, recruiting campaigns, and career fair materials.
  • Develop content for career sites, social media platforms, recruitment marketing campaigns, university relations, and hiring events.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and external communications teams to ensure alignment between the corporate brand and employer brand.
  • Support strategic workforce initiatives by enhancing FormFactor's visibility and reputation within target talent markets.

Content Creation and Channel Management
  • Develop high-quality, audience-specific content across multiple communication channels, including intranet, email, digital signage, presentations, social media, video, and event materials.
  • Own and continuously improve FormFactor's intranet content related to People programs, leadership resources, employee experience initiatives, and organizational communications.
  • Manage communication workflows, editorial calendars, approvals, and content governance processes.
  • Ensure messaging is tailored appropriately to diverse employee audiences, including office-based and manufacturing employees.
  • Evaluate and optimize communication channels to improve reach, engagement, and effectiveness.

Employee Engagement and Events
  • Partner on communication planning and execution for global company meetings, including All-Hands meetings, Fireside Chats, Town Halls, leadership forums, and special events.
  • Support executive communications initiatives that reinforce company strategy, culture, and employee engagement.
  • Partner on the design, promotion, and communication of employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and cultural events.
  • Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) through strategic communications planning, branding, storytelling, and awareness campaigns.
  • Coordinate communication support for major company milestones, site openings, recruiting events, and employee experience initiatives.

Measurement, Analytics, and Continuous Improvement
  • Establish measurable objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal communications, employer branding, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness through engagement analytics, surveys, feedback mechanisms, and audience insights.
  • Analyze communication performance, campaign effectiveness, talent attraction metrics, and channel utilization to assess business impact.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and executive summaries that translate communication outcomes into actionable business insights.
  • Measure and communicate the return on investment (ROI) of communication and employer brand initiatives by evaluating reach, engagement, awareness, recruiting outcomes, and employee experience indicators.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize communication strategies, content effectiveness, channel utilization, and employer branding investments.
  • Stay current on communication, employer branding, employee engagement, digital marketing, and change management best practices to continuously elevate FormFactor's approach.

Other Duties
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of the People Team, Talent Acquisition, employee experience, and broader business objectives.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Human Resources, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employer branding, marketing communications, employee engagement, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-site organizations, preferably within manufacturing, technology, semiconductor, engineering, or industrial environments.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and developing executive-level communications.
  • Demonstrated success managing communication programs, campaigns, and employer branding initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Experience using data and analytics to measure communication impact and inform decision-making.

  • Experience using design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms for creating visual communications assets.
  • Familiarity with social media, recruitment marketing, and digital platforms used for employer branding.
  • Experience creating presentations, visual storytelling materials, and executive communications.

Work Environment:
  • This position is based in Farmers Branch, Texas and operates in a hybrid office environment.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required to support company events, site openings, recruiting initiatives, employee programs, and leadership communications activities.
  • May be required to work outside standard business hours to support global communications, company events, or critical business initiatives.
