Job description

About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the worldโ€™s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. Weโ€™ve scaled to $100M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI and Graceview.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig ร…berg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If youโ€™re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The Role

We care deeply about building a worldโ€‘class team and unlocking the full potential of our people. As our Talent Mobility Partner (North America), you will own and scale how talent moves into, across, and within Legora.

This role sits at the intersection of global hiring, internal mobility, and talent strategy. You will ensure we can hire and relocate talent seamlessly across borders, while also building the frameworks that enable our people to grow, move, and thrive within the company.

In the near term, your focus will be on building a bestโ€‘inโ€‘class immigration and global mobility program to support our rapid growth. Over time, your scope will expand to include mobility, career pathing, and talent planning, helping us retain and develop top talent as we scale.

You will partner closely with Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and leadership across the business to build scalable, compliant and highโ€‘impact programs.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Immigration & Global Mobility:

  • Own all U.S. immigration processes endโ€‘toโ€‘end (e.g., Hโ€‘1B, Lโ€‘1, Oโ€‘1, TN, etc.)

  • Partner with external counsels to manage filings, renewals, and complex cases

  • Build scalable processes to track:

    • Visa timelines
    • Expirations
    • Case status and dependencies
  • Ensure full compliance with:

    • Immigration regulations
    • Work authorization requirements (Iโ€‘9, audits, etc.)
  • Design and implement global mobility and relocation programs, including:

    • International transfers
    • Domestic relocation
    • Relocation policies and packages
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to:

    • Candidates navigating visa processes
    • Hiring managers hiring international talent

Internal Mobility & Talent Management

  • Design and implement internal mobility frameworks, including:

    • Internal job postings
    • Transparent movement processes
    • Manager alignment and decisionโ€‘making guidelines
  • Partner with People Business Partners, and leadership on talent planning and workforce strategy

  • Build foundational career pathing and leveling frameworks (in partnership with People leadership)

  • Support talent reviews and succession planning processes

  • Identify and address retention risks, particularly for highโ€‘performing employees

  • Create a seamless experience for employees navigating growth within Legora

Program Design & Operational Excellence

  • Build scalable, dataโ€‘driven programs that balance:

    • Speed
    • Compliance
    • Employee experience
  • Implement tools and systems to support mobility tracking and reporting

  • Develop clear documentation, policies, and guidelines for both managers and employees

  • Continuously improve programs based on business needs and feedback

Crossโ€‘Functional Partnership:

  • Partner closely with:

    • Talent Acquisition (global hiring strategy)
    • People Business Partners (talent planning and employee support)
    • Legal (immigration and compliance)
    • Finance (cost and relocation planning)
  • Align mobility and talent programs with broader People strategy

What You Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in immigration, global mobility, and/or talent management
  • Strong expertise in U.S. immigration processes and compliance
  • Experience working in a highโ€‘growth, fastโ€‘paced environment (startup, scaleโ€‘up, or similar)
  • Ability to build programs from scratch and scale them effectively
  • Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and risk management
  • Experience partnering crossโ€‘functionally with Legal, Finance, and business leaders
  • Ability to think strategically about talent while executing at a high level
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities
Whatโ€™s In It For You
  • Global collaboration: Partner with teams and clients across Europe, APAC, and North America.

  • Competitive package: Comprehensive salary, benefits, and tools for success.

  • Meaningful work: Your efforts shape how thousands of lawyers use AI daily.
