Overview

Position Overview

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), the Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Talent Acquisition function by coordinating and executing recruitment and onboarding activities. This position partners closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, hiring managers, and Human Resources team members to ensure a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring process. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator contributes to building a high-performing workforce by ensuring recruitment operations are accurate, compliant, and aligned with FBM's business needs.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Candidate Support
    • Assist with full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, and initial candidate screenings as directed
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely communication and updates throughout the recruitment process
    • Coordinate interview schedules and logistics, including meeting rooms, Microsoft Teams interviews, and communication with candidates and interviewers via phone, email, and text
  • Onboarding & Compliance
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires by initiating background checks, drug screenings, and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
    • Prepare and distribute job offer letters and related employment documentation
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment posting requirements and I-9 / work authorization regulations for Home Office and branch locations
  • Systems, Reporting & Administration
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in iCIMS (ATS), ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection standards
    • Partner with the Human Resources Analyst to compile recruitment data and support reporting related to funnel metrics, time-to-fill, and candidate status
    • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and report preparation
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to identify hiring needs and support effective sourcing strategies
    • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to support continuous improvement of recruitment processes
    • Represent FBM professionally while upholding company values and culture in all candidate and stakeholder interactions
  • Miscellaneous
    • Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers 
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
    • Prior experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or human resources administration strongly preferred
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
    • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
    • Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt

    Compensation

    The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

    • Base: $25.00-$32.50 per hour
    • Bonus: 10% Target Bonus
    • Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $55,000 - $80,000
    • Job Type: Full-Time
