About the role
A Creative Marketing Assistant Editor is responsible for fully supporting the creative team by, but not limited to, setting up projects, prepping projects, creative assistance, prepping all finishing files for post-production, encoding, QC, and uploading final files. This role requires someone who is highly organized, has excellent attention to detail, remains calm under pressure, has impeccable communication skills, and multi-tasking abilities while being able to work well with others.
This is a 100% onsite role in Studio City, CA.
What you'll do
  • Transcoding and ingesting features, dailies, and marketing materials.
  • Starting, prepping, and organizing projects for creative editors.
  • Uploading and downloading prep, source materials, and assets via Aspera, Box, WireDrive, and other assorted FTPs
  • Understanding proper project organization and finder level structure.
  • Maintain accessibility of system and alert appropriate parties when down
  • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of requests
  • Prepping files for finishing - creating AAF, EDLs, shot list, CCSL, Cue Sheets, etc.
  • Asset management and archiving of projects to LTO.
  • Maintain storage of files and keeping logs of archives.
  • QC all deliverables
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by editors and management.

Qualifications
  • Computer skills required: Adobe Premier Pro, Cloud storage/transmission, WireDrive, Box, Microsoft Office Suite, G-suite
  • Extensive knowledge of video and audio formats
  • Creative advertising editorial experience a plus.

The pay range for this role is:
22 - 27 USD per hour (Studios)
