Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Evansville, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $24.00–$29.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience


Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three (3) days onsite per week, with Mondays required. Additional onsite days may be necessary based on interviews, orientations, training, meetings, or business needs.

The selected candidate will work full-time onsite during the first month for training and onboarding and may be assigned set hours during this period. Following training, work hours may be flexible between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., based on business needs and manager approval. Minimal Travel in Wisconsin, 0-10% may be required to onboard employees at other locations. 


Position Summary

Baker Manufacturing Company is seeking an organized, proactive, and people-focused Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator to support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and Human Resources activities across multiple company locations.


This position will primarily recruit for hourly manufacturing, warehouse, skilled trades, and office support positions while assisting with salaried and professional recruiting as needed. The Coordinator will partner closely with hiring managers, candidates, staffing agencies, and recruiting partners to keep the hiring process moving and provide a positive candidate and new hire experience.


This role will also develop and update job descriptions and advertisements, coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities, prepare offer letters, help improve onboarding processes within Paylocity, maintain employee and recruiting documentation, and provide general HR support.


Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required for this position. The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively speak, read, and write in both languages and communicate professionally with candidates, employees, supervisors, and managers.


Essential Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing, warehouse, skilled trades, and office support positions across multiple company locations, while assisting with salaried and professional recruiting as needed.

• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and proactively follow up to keep interviews, candidate feedback, and hiring decisions moving forward.

• Develop and maintain job descriptions and job advertisements and manage postings through Paylocity, JobTarget, company websites, and other recruiting platforms.

• Partner with staffing agencies and recruiting vendors to support temporary and direct-hire staffing needs and improve applicant flow.

• Review applications, screen candidates, conduct initial phone interviews, coordinate interviews, and maintain consistent candidate communication throughout the hiring process.

• Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment requirements and documentation.

• Develop candidate pipelines and assist with hiring events, recruitment marketing, social media, and employer branding activities.

• Monitor recruiting activity, applicant flow, job posting performance, and hiring progress and provide regular updates to the HR Manager.


Onboarding & HR Support

• Coordinate new hire onboarding, including pre-employment requirements, paperwork, orientation schedules, communications, and other new hire logistics.

• Assist with building and continuously improving onboarding workflows, forms, checklists, and communications within Paylocity.

• Ensure new hire documentation is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.

• Provide English/Spanish communication and assistance to candidates and employees throughout the recruiting and onboarding process and with general HR-related needs.

• Prepare employment letters, employee communications, and other HR-related correspondence.

• Maintain confidential personnel files, recruiting records, HR forms, and electronic and paper documentation.

• Assist with HR compliance, recordkeeping, employee communications, and special HR projects.

• Provide professional and responsive support to employees, candidates, supervisors, managers, and outside partners.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support Human Resources and overall business needs.


Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.

Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required, including fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in both languages.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish with candidates, employees, supervisors, managers, and external partners.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, Human Resources, staffing, or related administrative coordination.

*Valid Driver's License. 

• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple positions, candidates, deadlines, and priorities.

• Strong attention to detail, professional judgment, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

• Self-motivated and comfortable proactively following up with managers to keep recruiting and onboarding activities moving forward.


Preferred

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Manufacturing, warehouse, skilled trades, or high-volume hourly recruiting experience.

• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS; Paylocity experience is a plus.

• Experience with JobTarget, online recruiting platforms, and/or staffing agencies.

• Experience developing job descriptions, employment advertisements, or onboarding programs.


Work Environment

This position works primarily in a professional office environment with regular interaction throughout manufacturing facilities to support recruiting, interviews, orientations, employee communications, and other HR activities.
