Physical Therapist Assistant

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to work in the Defiance, OH area for a top Rehabilitation company. This is a permanent position directly in with the company offering great mentorship and benefits!

Job Duties:

  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, ambulation, positioning, reconditioning, and activities of daily living.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities and utilize specialized equipment as directed.
  • Assist with braces, prosthetics, bandages, and other assistive devices.
  • Monitor patient progress and report responses, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Assist the Physical Therapist during evaluations, testing, and complex treatment procedures.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and medical precautions.
  • Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
  • Complete required documentation and support basic clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. (Or in the process).
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (Or in the process).
