GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Enterprise-wide Applications Administrator will assist with implementing, upgrading, migrating, patching, administering and supporting multi-tier enterprise platforms (ERP/MRP/GL/BI) and companion software. The ideal candidate possesses enough data analysis and back end SQL Server database/scripting experience to support these platforms. While knowledge of data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) processes is also important, this is not a software/web development role. This position will interface with 3rd party support, internal cross functional IT groups and internal functional users in an effort to troubleshoot/resolve issues. This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, if needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Support various n-tier (db/app/web/desktop) enterprise wide on-prem functions, for example: Deltek (ERP/Timekeeping/QA/Planning/EVM/PPM), Costpoint (MRP), Active Risk Manager (ERM), Cognos/SSRS (BI), Qlik/Talend/Power BI (BI/ETL), SQL Server (DBA), PostgreSQL (DBA), HighGear (Workflow/BPM), PTC Windchill/Codebeamer (PLM), eQuip (Asset Management).
• Assist users remotely and facilitate 3rd party support.
• Install/deploy hotfixes/patches (employing SOX approach; with proper change controls in place).
• Configure security controls: user access groups/roles; enable/disable users (employing SOX approach; with proper approvals in place).
• Administer/Support SQL/PostgreSQL DBs; to the extent required to support the application platforms.
• Perform implementations, upgrades and migrations.
• Learn new technologies as they are adopted so as to be able to assist with supporting/enhancing/improving system functionality.
• Handle data Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes (utilizing various ETL tools, Excel, SQL Server and the native bulk import/export features within the various applications).
• Act as an escalation point to Level III Enterprise Wide Apps Analysts; providing direction and oversight (technically and programmatically).
• Other job duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Required:
• Technical, hands-on experience with on-premise front end and back end setup/configuration/support of multi-tier ERP, MRP, GL type platforms in general.
• Ability to create, maintain, backup, restore and refresh SQL databases (PostgreSQL also desired; can train the Linux piece).
• Ability to interact effectively with end users, peers, 3rd party support providers and management (strong verbal and written communication skills).
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the Essential Job Functions, including computer skills.
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
• Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
• Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to obtain security clearance is required, if needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Requires a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience.
