Position Summary:

The Data & Business Intelligence Senior Associate serves as the critical link between Marketing, Analytics, Data Engineering, and Technology teams. This role blends business acumen, product ownership, and technical expertise to design, deliver, and optimize marketing data products that power customer insights, campaign execution, measurement, personalization, and advanced analytics.

The ideal candidate understands both how marketing data is generated and how it is consumed. They can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, usability, and business value. This individual acts as a data product leader, partnering across the organization to drive trusted, accessible, and high-performing marketing data assets.

Key Responsibilities:Marketing Data Product Strategy
  • Define and maintain the vision, roadmap, and priorities for marketing data products in partnership with Marketing, Technology and Analytics leadership.
  • Align data initiatives with marketing objectives, customer experience strategies, and business outcomes.
  • Support integration of Consumer, Commercial, Digital, and B2B marketing data components into the shared data platform.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, customer targeting, attribution, and measurement.
  • Develop success metrics and measure business value delivered by data products.
Data Engineering & Technical Collaboration
  • Partner with data engineering teams to design and build scalable data pipelines and data models.
  • Translate marketing and analytics requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and solution design discussions.
  • Support the buildout, expansion, and ongoing maintenance of the enterprise marketing data platform and related data infrastructure
  • Validate source-to-target mappings and data transformation logic.
Dashboard & Reporting Enablement
  • Design and maintain reporting-ready data products that support dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and BI developers to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.
  • Create and maintain semantic layers, reporting views, and curated data marts optimized for analytics consumption.
  • Support development of Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting solutions.
Data Governance & Quality
  • Establish and maintain data definitions, metadata, lineage, and business rules.
  • Implement data quality standards, monitoring processes, and issue remediation practices.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
  • Support enterprise data governance initiatives and stewardship activities.
  • Standardize business metrics and calculations across dashboards to promote a consistent "single source of truth."
Marketing Analytics Enablement
  • Enable self-service reporting and dashboard development through trusted data products.
  • Support customer segmentation, campaign measurement, attribution, and journey analytics.
  • Partner with Data Science teams to support AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics initiatives.
  • Standardize marketing KPIs and measurement frameworks across channels.
Product Ownership & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs and enhancement requests.
  • Facilitate collaboration among Marketing, Analytics, Technology, Data Governance, and Operations teams.
  • Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption and education of marketing data products across the organization.
Required Qualifications:Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, marketing analytics, data product management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical development teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms and marketing data ecosystems.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and data modeling.
  • Working knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other BI tools.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Business & Marketing Skills
  • Understanding of customer data, campaign measurement, and marketing attribution.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation and customer journey analytics.
  • Ability to define business requirements and success metrics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within financial services or a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, or Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
  • Exposure to AI/ML data preparation and model enablement.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
