BI Developer/Data Analyst

The position will provide an opportunity to interact with various data sets and BI tools to develop visualizations that drive key risk reduction decisions for Information Risk Management.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist key stakeholders achieve important risk reduction goals through meaningful metrics and dashboards.

- Identify appropriate source systems and understand how data flows within various systems.

- Perform Data Analysis and develop Visualizations using Tableau, SQL, Excel and other BI tools.

- Clearly convey the "story" in a visual format that is grouped, summarized, or formatted to be easily understood and actionable.

Key Skills:

- 5+ years managing data and demonstrating strong skills using Excel, pivots, Vlookup, conditional formatting, large record sets and macros.

- 3+ years reporting experience building visualizations/dashboards based upon large data sets and complex queries.

- Able to learn fast and operate with little guidance.

- Strong understanding of relational databases.

- Good understanding of Tableau or other various business intelligence(BI) tools.

- Able to work with complex undocumented business logic and data flows from many sources.

Desirable Skills:

- Tableau Development Experience including complex dashboard design, data handling and designing impactful visualizations.

- Experience cleaning, transforming, integrating and navigating data through SQL, Netezza, Alteryx, Informatica or other similar database and ETL platforms.

- Data modeling experience at both the logical and physical level.
