Job Description Senior Tableau Administrator Location: Columbus, OH : Des Moines, IA : Charlotte, NC : Irving, TX Duration: 6 Month Contract Overview We are seeking a Senior Tableau Administrator with experience managing large-scale Tableau environments to support enterprise data and infrastructure initiatives. This role will focus on administration, automation, and operational support of Tableau platforms, while collaborating with infrastructure and data teams to ensure stability, performance, and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring strong Tableau Server administration expertise, along with Python scripting and version control experience.

Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible is a plus. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain enterprise Tableau Server environments supporting large-scale data and analytics initiatives. Monitor and optimize Tableau performance, scalability, and system reliability.

Manage user access, security configuration, and governance policies within Tableau environments. Develop Python scripts to automate administrative tasks, monitoring, and operational workflows. Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration on infrastructure scripts and configurations.

Support infrastructure and engineering teams in deploying and maintaining Tableau-related services. Troubleshoot and resolve platform, performance, and connectivity issues. Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to ensure platform stability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications 4+ years of infrastructure engineering or platform administration experience. Hands-on experience with Tableau Server administration in enterprise environments. Experience working with large-scale Tableau deployments.

Strong Python scripting experience for automation and operational tasks. Experience using GitHub or similar version control tools. Solid understanding of infrastructure engineering principles and system operations.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools. Experience supporting data analytics or BI platforms in enterprise environments. Familiarity with monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning for analytics platforms.
