Job description

Summary

As a Sales Data Analyst, you will support our sales team's effectiveness by creating insightful dashboards and reports using BI tools, CRM, and other reporting software. You will perform ad-hoc analyses and summarize data into presentations with clear visuals and commentary. This role requires interdepartmental collaboration, a high level of attention to detail, and interaction with internal stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight) to provide actionable insights for the sales team and leadership

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses using Excel and other data analysis tools to support various sales initiatives and answer key business questions

  • Summarize data effectively into presentations, incorporating insightful visuals and commentary to communicate findings clearly

  • Assist in tracking and reporting on global sales KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across regions

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting efficiency

  • Build productive internal relationships with team members and stakeholders across different departments, often interacting with sales and other operational leadership

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of sales data by conducting regular data quality checks and validation

  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of standardized reports, ensuring consistency and reliability in data presentation

  • Enable data-driven decision-making by providing insights that inform sales strategies and performance

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience preferably within sales analytics

  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Quicksight

  • A strong knowledge of SQL as well as advanced Excel skills

  • Experience or exposure to modern data stack tools like dbt (Data Build Tool) or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to create and present insightful visuals and commentary in presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders

  • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly and concisely

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and manage tasks based on clearly defined objectives

  • Experience building productive internal working relationships across similar areas

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements

How You'll Be Rewarded

Salary range in the US: $83,000.00 - $134,000.00

A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
