Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Epic Analytics Solution Architect in West Des Moines, IA.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Analytics Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions within a large healthcare environment. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who excels at connecting business needs with technical solutions and serving as the go-to expert for Epic analytics. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across the Epic reporting ecosystem and have experience leading analytics initiatives, defining technical direction, and partnering with both business stakeholders and development teams.
Duties:
* Architect and design Epic reporting and analytics solutions
* Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Epic analytics tools and data models
* Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable technical solutions
* Lead reporting and dashboard strategy across multiple functional areas
* Review and guide work completed by development resources
* Support reporting, dashboard, and analytics requests from business partners
* Develop technical designs, data models, and reporting frameworks
* Manage Epic data extracts and support integration-related initiatives
* Ensure analytics solutions align with organizational goals and reporting needs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Senior-level experience in Epic analytics architecture or solution architecture
* Experience supporting one or more of the following domains: Revenue Cycle; Patient Access; Clinical Operations
* Experience serving as a technical lead or architect for reporting and analytics initiatives
* Expert-level knowledge of: Epic Reporting Workbench; Radar Dashboards; SlicerDicer
* Strong understanding of Epic data structures and reporting frameworks
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders
* Proven ability to design analytics solutions rather than solely develop reports
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience leading or coordinating offshore development resources
* Health Catalyst experience
* Azure analytics, data platform, or cloud-based reporting experience
* Data warehousing and ETL design experience
* Healthcare industry experience
* Strong SQL skills
Ideal Candidate:
* Has operated as the lead Epic Analytics Architect within a healthcare organization
* Can quickly assess a reporting environment and make immediate contributions
* Demonstrates both strong technical depth and business-facing communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
