What You'll DoAs an Ancillary Manager, you'll oversee the operation, maintenance, planning, and scheduling of all ancillary and auxiliary equipment supporting plant operations. You'll work closely with maintenance teams, facility leadership, and operations personnel to improve equipment reliability, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure safe and efficient plant performance.


In this role, you will:

  • Oversee operation and maintenance activities for all ancillary and auxiliary systemsย 
  • Review, prioritize, and plan non-emergency maintenance work ordersย 
  • Develop integrated maintenance schedules for preventive maintenance and repair activitiesย 
  • Coordinate labor, tools, equipment, materials, and contractor support for maintenance workย 
  • Ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are available to respond to emergency situationsย 
  • Work with Facility Managers to prioritize maintenance activities and allocate resources effectivelyย 
  • Monitor maintenance work completion and ensure accurate documentation of completed work ordersย 
  • Conduct post-job reviews and support continuous improvement of maintenance programsย 
  • Support equipment reliability initiatives and recommend improvements to maintenance and inventory practicesย 
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and waste-handling proceduresย 
  • Lead and support continuous training initiatives for ancillary operators and maintenance personnelย 
  • Promote Lean manufacturing practices including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activitiesย 
  • Maintain safe operations and enforce company safety procedures and regulations

Requirements

What We're Looking ForWe're seeking a hands-on maintenance and operations leader with strong technical knowledge, planning skills, and experience supporting industrial plant operations.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)ย 
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant maintenance, facilities, or industrial operations experienceย 
  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning softwareย 
  • Strong understanding of industrial utility and ancillary systemsย 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsย 
  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional maintenance activitiesย 
  • Strong communication and leadership skillsย 
  • Ability to respond to operational needs in a 24/7 manufacturing environmentย 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Facilities Operating Engineer License preferredย 
  • Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing or industrial facilitiesย 
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiativesย 
  • Experience leading maintenance or facilities teams in a manufacturing environmentย 


Your Work Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday, day shift. Additional hours and on-call support may be required based on operational and maintenance needs.
