Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Remotely lead, support and coordinate mission-critical application system architecture and infrastructure sustainment activities to ensure operability at eight North XX Manufacturing Centers.
  • Testing and deployment of application quarterly version upgrades as provided by software vendor.
  • Performing quarterly server patching validation activities.
  • Troubleshooting/application support for planned and emergent events.
  • Ensuring IT compliance (cyber security, access control, obsolete).
  • Support connected-system changepoint activity.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of MS Windows operating environment (server 2016+, Windows 10+) and SQL database.
  • Understanding of information technology networking, architecture, security, account management, policy and webpage design.
  • Knowledge in PLC IO and Data networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Ethernet/IP, FLNET).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, work well with team environment, and can build consensus.
  • Strong organizational skill and ability to manage.
  • Ability to visualize problems and solutions, work activity and project plans.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of related experience in Engineering/Software Engineering.
  • 2+ years of Project management experience in building plan, procurement service, scope control, and progress monitor.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with local and overseas manufacturing engineering teams and IT groups.
  • Ability to work weekends to support application management activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain with multiple levels within the organization.
