Job description

Indotronix is seeking an :Systems Engineer Level 3
Location:Camarillo California
Work Schedule: 9x80 A
BS degree in a STEM field
Active Secret Clearance (required at start)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and support software system and subsystem designs.
  • Develop and execute test procedures for requirements verification and validation.
  • Perform integration, functional, regression, and performance testing of embedded software systems.
  • Analyze test results, document defects, and coordinate issue resolution with development teams.
  • Support requirements traceability and validation using IBM DOORS or equivalent requirements management tools.
  • Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Review Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), and system architecture documentation.
  • Participate in technical reviews, audits, and milestone reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience with integration, functional, regression, and performance testing of embedded software systems.
  • Experience writing technical and functional requirements.
  • Experience with requirements-based testing and traceability using IBM DOORS or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect-tracking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading system-level integration, validation, and compliance testing activities.
  • Experience analyzing complex test data and performing root-cause investigations.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive test strategies and coordinate defect resolution across multiple teams.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and embedded software development environments.
