Job Description
Support the development, integration, verification, and certification of aerospace systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architectures, manage requirements, perform system analysis, and ensure successful delivery of system engineering products throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, decompose, allocate, and manage system requirements.
  • Perform system architecture, logical decomposition, and functional analysis.
  • Support system verification, validation, and certification activities.
  • Participate in FAA and Military certification efforts.
  • Support risk, issue, opportunity, and technical performance management.
  • Develop system engineering artifacts including requirements, specifications, architecture models, and technical reports.
  • Lead and support technical reviews, working groups, and customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Support systems integration, testing, and design review activities.
  • Utilize MBSE and requirements management tools including CAMEO, MSOSA, Rhapsody, DOORS, TeamCenter, and 3DX.
  • Mentor team members and ensure quality of engineering deliverables.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of systems engineering experience.
  • Experience with System Architecture and Modeling tools (CAMEO, MSOSA, Rhapsody).
  • Experience with Requirements Management tools (IBM DOORS).
  • Experience in requirements verification and validation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related systems engineering experience.
  • Experience with ICD development, requirements development, and logical architecture.
  • Experience with risk, issue, and opportunity management.
  • Experience leading SRR, PDR, and CDR reviews.
  • Experience with systems integration, lab testing, ground testing, and flight testing.
  • Experience supporting FAA, EASA, or Military certification programs.
  • Knowledge of avionics, mission systems, networking, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, and aircraft systems.
  • INCOSE Certification preferred.

Education
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
