Project Analyst
Location: Springfield MA

Key Responsibilities
- Support financial tracking and cost analysis for construction materials operations
- Track job-specific expenses including labor, materials, subcontractors, and other project costs
- Assist with monthly project reviews alongside Project Managers
- Support monthly Work in Progress (WIP) review
- Assist with budgeting process
- Prepare cost-related reports for management
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Help ensure accurate financial reporting and financial statements
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of related experience
- The role is well suited for someone who understands construction environments and can connect accounting detail with project performance.
- Knowledge of cost principles; construction or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, curious, and able to work effectively in a team environment

• Experience in construction accounting, cost tracking, or project accounting within a contractor or materials-focused environment.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction projects and the financial processes that support them.
• Strong understanding of cost analysis, billing practices, and expense reconciliation for project-based work.
• Ability to interpret job cost data, identify discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheets used for reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
