JOB TITLE: System Integration/Test Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $87.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:ย 

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS or GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems.

  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware or software interface problems, defines input or output parameters, and ensures integration of entire system or subsystem.

  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, and develops comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.

  • Coordinates subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and system level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance.

  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify or validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

  • Designs and develops test equipment for electronic and mechanical testing applications.

  • Applies software development skills in C, C++, and LabView for test system development.

  • Integrates Automated Test Equipment (ATE) with hardware including switches, VXI or PXI chassis, and EO testing.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance required to start.

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in software development (C, C++, LabView preferred).

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in production environments.

  • 6 or more years of experience in test equipment design.

  • 6 or more years of experience in electronic testing.

  • 6 or more years of experience in mechanical testing.

  • Preferred: Experience with LabView or LabWindows CVI and NI systems in development and maintenance of complex systems.

  • Preferred: Proficient software skills in C and C++ coupled with ATE hardware integration expertise (switches, VXI or PXI chassis, EO testing, automation).

  • Preferred: Experience in ATE development and maintenance in a high-volume production environment.

  • Preferred: Experience with Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms.
