YOU MUST HAVE
. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
. 6+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience with NX and Teamcenter

tolerancing (GD&T), both in generating drawings and checking drawings generated by others

Rotor Dynamics is a special mechanical engineering focus that studies the vibration, stability, and dynamics (i.e., a function of speed) behavior of rotating systems such as Fans, Compressors, & Turbines used in Jet Engines.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the mechanical design and development of aerospace components and systems from concept through production
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with aerospace standards
  • Develop and review detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and design documentation
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses to ensure robust and reliable designs
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the mechanical design team
  • Engage with customers and suppliers to align design requirements and resolve technical challenges

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering within aerospace or related industries, focusing on complex component and system design
  • Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS APDL or ANSYS Workbench
  • Proficiency in 1D Beam based FEA technique
  • Proficiency in Rotor Dynamics & Shafting Structural Analyses
  • Ability to lead design reviews, conduct risk assessments, and mentor engineering teams effectively
  • Proven leadership experience in managing mechanical design projects in aerospace environments
