Lead Host Opportunity at Parker's Maple Barn

Looking for a role where you can lead with warmth, hospitality, and a touch of maple syrup magic? Join the team at Parker’s Maple Barn! Nestled in Mason, NH (right on the border of Ashby & Townsend, MA), we’re a beloved restaurant, gift shop, and sugar house known for our hearty breakfasts and fresh maple syrup. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with people, and have a knack for leadership, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Lead Host, you’ll be the friendly face that sets the tone for our guests’ dining experience. You’ll ensure smooth operations in our high-volume dining room while leading the front-of-house (FOH) team with confidence and positivity.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Offering a warm welcome to every patron and a heartfelt “thank you” as they leave.
- Ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience—because they’re not just customers, they’re our guests.
- Scheduling and overseeing a team of 20+ FOH staff to keep things running smoothly.
- Resolving guest concerns politely and effectively, ensuring they leave with a smile.
- Communicating seamlessly with upper management, BOH, and FOH staff to maintain a harmonious workflow.
- Utilizing your leadership skills to maintain a strong, motivated team.
- Strategizing and problem-solving under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- 3 years of experience in a high-volume dining room (fast-food or drive-thru experience does not qualify).
- A “people person” personality with a passion for hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
- Tech-savviness, with knowledge of Toast POS and Micros RES 3700 POS strongly preferred.
- Hospitality event planning skills (a big plus!).
- A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to think strategically and stay cool under pressure.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with workdays on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. You’ll have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off to recharge.
