Mandatory Skills:

4+ years hands on experience design, develop, test and implement Endpoint Security solutions in an enterprise environment.

4+ years of endpoint security experience, malware response and/or security operations

Design & implementation experience specially working with Symantec SEP

Ability to troubleshoot SEP policy conflicts

Experience with large (>150,000 endpoint) deployments of SEP

Solid understanding of endpoint security

In-depth operating system knowledge of Windows (Server and Client) and Unix based systems

Basic understanding of programming/scripting (VBS/PowerShell/Python)

Experience in computer architecture and design

Experience in operating system design and security

Symantec Antivirus and Symantec Endpoint Protection expertise

Expert knowledge of McAfee DLP, ePolicy Orchestrator v5.1x and 4.x, and with McAfee VirusScan

Experience with Encryption software (PGP or McAfee SafeBoot)

Virus Submission and remediation experience

Investigative and analytical problem solving skills

Enterprise Security Information Management systems experience

Preferred Skills:

Experience with DLP software (McAfee DLP)

Hands-on Windows 2008 and 2012 Server administration experience

Hands-on IIS administration experience

Experience with Encryption software

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with client, customers, team members and product support personnel

Create technical documentation to support endpoint security solutions
