Job description

JOB TITLE: VIP Pool Host

DEPRTMENT: Stadium Swim

JOB SUMMARY:
The Stadium Swim Host is responsible for managing reservations, assisting Stadium Swim clientele, curating memorable experiences and providing superior guest service while acting as a brand ambassador for Circa and Stadium Swim.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
  • Develop and maintain relationships with guests
  • Assist guests with table reservations and special requests
  • Escort guests to and from private, reserved seating areas
  • Entertain guests and curate a unique, memorable experience
  • Promote Stadium Swim specific events
  • Responsible for following all designated emergency procedures and duties in the event of an emergency
  • Assists guests with requests, offering alternatives and seeing assistance as necessary
  • Understand and well versed in the resort features and services including all outlets, hours of operations, activities and events available to guests
  • Attend required training
  • Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • A minimum of 1-2 years work experience in a high volume beverage, day club or pool setting
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Existing customer database strongly desired, but not required
  • Ability to network and comfortably communicate with others in order to develop business
  • Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis
  • Ability to work within a team environment and maintain a positive “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Must be able to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts
  • Must possess basic knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions
  • Willingness to participate in promotional campaigns & promote upcoming events via social platforms


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have or be able to obtain all required Nevada work cards (Health, TAM, Non-gaming)

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
  • Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.  These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.  Constant contact with fellow team members and Guests
  • Ability to stand and walking for long periods of time
  • Extreme weather conditions both hot and cold, indoors and outdoors
  • May be exposed to second hand smoke and a loud environment
