Responsibilities
We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. Below is a listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner under the guidance of community policies, and the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems with preventative maintenance measures in place in accordance with property budgetary goals.
  • Prepare vacant apartments to be in market-ready condition in accordance with PRAXM standards and guidelines.
  • Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures as needed.
  • Assist in the daily cleanliness of the community including swimming pools, common areas, and all areas assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots, including snow removal as needed and instructed.
  • Complete and document preventive maintenance activities, and record all information to encourage preventative maintenance measures.
  • Provide emergency resident support after office hours as scheduled with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
  • Ability to rotate on an emergency on-call maintenance schedule.
  • Must be knowledgeable and adhere to Sexual Harassment and Fair Housing Guidelines.

Requirements
Work Environment
  • Ability to work inside or outside and in varying weather conditions
  • Must be onsite or available during all standard clubhouse hours and all on call hours- including weekends
  • Physical demands include walk, climb stairs, sit, or stand for long periods of time, and occasionally lift up to 50lbs

Skill Requirements
  • HVAC designation preferred
  • Superb customer service skills including exception listening, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of Real Page
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state housing and employee regulations.
  • Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule, and work a varied schedule to include weekends and holidays as required.

Compensation
  • $22-$24/ hour + bonus potential!
