They expect their grocery order to arrive on time, fresh, and accurate and our Warehouse Leads play a critical role in ensuring that!  Your role involves providing front-line support for the production team, ensuring compliance with quality protocols and standard operating processes. With a focus on safety, accuracy, and quality control, you will play a crucial part in meeting production targets and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the production leaders to communicate daily goals, production targets, and safety briefings to the team. Delegate and distribute personnel to ensure the on-time completion of tasks and orders. 
  • Strictly adheres to the SQF Food Safety Code while monitoring the warehouse floor to ensure all employees consistently follow Good Distribution Practices (GDP) rules.
  • Drives a proactive "see something, say something" culture, effectively escalating concerns and taking swift action appropriate to their level of responsibility.
  • Enforce and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process. Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet specified quality standards, and address any deviations promptly.
  • Adhere to standard processes to support operational goals. Identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and drive initiatives to streamline workflows.
  • Proactively communicate effectively with the inventory control team to ensure the timely replenishment of stock on the line, preventing out-of-stock items and shorts. 
  • Foster effective communication across all warehouse teams to identify and effectively resolve issues that may impede the on-time and accurate delivery of customers orders. 
  • Maintain all safety standards as provided by leadership

What you have:

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
  • Strong verbal communications skills
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
  • Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
