The position is primarily based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies. As part of our team, you'll work within a supportive environment focused on teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. We maintain consistent hours for our physical therapists from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a work-life balance that keeps our staff engaged and healthy.

• Adhere to state practice acts, maintaining compliance with regulations governing physical therapy practice.
• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and evaluations to identify functional limitations, developing tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
• Engage in direct patient care by implementing effective treatment protocols based on thorough assessment findings, ensuring evidence-based practices.
• Document patient evaluations and treatment progress accurately, maintaining clarity and compliance in all clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address patient conditions, recognizing when to modify care plans and engage in interdisciplinary consultations.
• Prepare and execute discharge plans, ensuring follow-up care is appropriately organized and communicated to patients.
• Actively participate in staff meetings and facility initiatives aimed at improving patient access and treatment processes.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and regulations, completing all required training to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Swift Therapy Center, you will primarily serve adults recovering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our approach emphasizes individualized care, leveraging evidence-based treatments to cater to the unique needs of each patient. You will play a crucial role in returning patients to their daily activities and improving their overall quality of life.

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Proficiency in using physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation equipment.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population and managing complex cases.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
