Swift Health Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Newark, New Jersey. This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Newark, New Jersey. The center is equipped with the latest therapy modalities and technologies, providing therapists with the tools necessary to offer tailored treatment plans for each patient. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical history and performing specific assessments to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about evaluation results and collaborate to set achievable treatment goals, ensuring their involvement in care decisions.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on comprehensive evaluation findings and continually assess patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
• Work in synergy with other healthcare team members, recognizing when to consult specialist advice and documenting any changes in patient conditions to modify care plans accordingly.
• Engage in comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up care while maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of all patient interactions and progress notes.
• Meet productivity expectations while managing time effectively, ensuring punctuality for both patient sessions and team meetings.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and assist in surpassing established goals and objectives, adhering to governmental and accreditation guidelines.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills and mentor students as a clinical instructor.
• Promote a superior customer experience by being adaptable and responsive to patients’ needs, facilitating improved access to care.

Our facility primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic conditions. We focus on providing personalized care that not only addresses physical rehabilitation but also promotes overall wellness and functional independence for our patients. Your work will directly contribute to better patient outcomes, empowering them to regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• An active and valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of patient rehabilitation protocols and commitment to quality care.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation is ideal, but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
